Please help us to raise fund for our lecturer, Mr. Akbar Ali who his son, Adam. 8 years old who has been diagnosed with second grade of spinal cord Astrocytoma Tumor. Astrocytomas of the spinal cord are rare tumors that arise from astrocytes in the spinal cord. We want to raise this fund for his surgery and followup treatment. The surgery was done in Singapore on the 21st July 2010 and his followup treatments, which include radiosurgery and chemoteraphy will be done three weeks from the date of surgery. The cost of surgery on the 21st July 2010 in Singapore was RM105,000. Followup treatment in three weeks time from the 21st July – chemoteraphy and radiosurgery - will be about RM140,000 in Singapore. His insurance can only cover for RM40,000.
